elcome to the first Norman Nardini e-newsletter! We would like to keep you up to date on all of the latest and greatest breaking news from the last true man of rock 'n' roll Norman Nardini. The Manful Handful has been busy cutting new tracks in the studio with Whitey Cooper, the legendary drummer and crooner with a back beat that is unrivaled. The sure hand, along with the thump and grind, of bass player Harry Bottoms is all over the project. Add Pittsburgh’s favorite Vinny Q bringing it on guitar and this is sure to be smokin! The as yet untitled project features Graceland, We’ve Come a Long Way, Yesterday’s Gone, and Work Like a Dog. Stay tuned for more developments! Rock My Soul Blues Revue magazine gave the Mark Stutso cd Rock My Soul a ‘big two thumbs up’ in the latest edition. The cd, which was produced by Norman, was released on Moondog Records and is selling like hotcakes. Stutso, known as blues guitar legend Jimmy Thackery’s longtime drummer, comes into his own on this solo effort. In addition to Mark’s soul-drenched vocals, it features the Cyclones Glenn Pavone on guitar and Tom Valentine on bass guitar. The G-man, Herman Granatti lends a hand on keyboards. Mark sings 10 Norman songs plus an Eddie Hinton classic. You can purchase the cd from the normannardini.com website or cdbaby.com. You can read the entire review through this link: http://normannardini.com/Blues%20Revue-Stutso.htm All Shook Up! It has been a year since the sudden death of former Tigers guitarist Paul Shook.
