Vinny Q does great guitar solos on Who Dat Do Dat, When God Took Paul and End of the Line. Whitey’s soulful vocals which are featured on Who Dat Do Dat are bone chilling! Carnegie Arts & Heritage Festival Who says summer is over? Not Carnegie! The weekend after Labor Day is Carnegie’s 18th Annual Arts & Heritage Festival. Main Street will be converted for 3 days of arts & crafts, music, family fun, and food. You will be able to enjoy BBQ, pierogies, gyros, funnel cakes and more while listening to some of Pittsburgh’s top musicians. Bring the kids, there will be rides, games, contests & face painting and the proceeds will benefit Carnegie’s youth programs. Norman will be headlining Thursday night’s show. The band, which will include Vinny Q on guitar, is scheduled to go on at 9:00 pm. For those over 21, alcoholic beverages will also be available. See you there! The Pittsburglar with be mixing it up with Shari Richards on the 19th at a rare appearance at the Rhythm House in Bridgeville. If you saw them as part of the 2008 Pittsburgh Blues All-stars performance at this year’s Blues Festival, you know what a powerful chemistry they have. This benefit show will include Steve Rohan from 96.9 Bob FM as MC and proceeds will go to Circle C Youth and Family Services.
