Tommy Castro Requests the Lovedog

What an honor and surprise when Norman got the phone call from good buddy Cornell Bogdon, radio host of Tangled Up In Blues, that Tommy Castro had invited him to sit in with his rhythm and blues revue when they played at the Youngstown Ohio club, The Cellar. Tommy Castro's Rhythm and Blues Revue includes Deanna Bogart on keyboards, Ronnie Baker Brooks on guitar and Magic Dick on harmonica. Check out March’s gig updates for full details!

Norman Has a Cameo

Did anyone see the 100 Greatest Hard Rock Songs that VH1 has been showing over the last couple of months? BonJovi’s You Give Love a Bad Name scored high in the rankings and if you watch very close you will see the Manful Handful himself in the video. Norman said that it was shot backstage of the Decade when the Jovi guys were sitting in with him and the Tigers. Other shots in the video showcases Pittsburgh’s fantastic view of Point State Park as you are coming into town through the Fort Pitt tunnels from BonJovi’s tour bus.

Pittsburgh Invades the Jersey Shore

Longtime Jersey promoter Tony P recently contacted Norman about playing at the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park over Memorial Day Weekend. Has it really been 5 years since his last Jersey invasion? So it was written, so it shall be. Norman says he’s doing all the old tunes and he’s bringing Vinnie Q with him to keep things rocking strong. This show is sure to be a memorable one; you don’t want to miss it!
