"Lazy bones",
"Nightclub", "Somethin's cookin", and "Rock n' roll
city" got things up and runnin tonight. We did a couple
old Silencers tunes just for fun tonight, "Peter gunn"
and "Sidewalk Romeo" for Terrible Tom."When I die and go
to hell" got sent out to Chooch. "Hello Marylou" got
sent out to Rat's ole lady Bettylou. We sent "Smoke two
joints" out to my ole buddy Paul Shook's nephew.We
closed out the night with the Texas Tornados classic
"Who were you thinking of" for Patti. This coming
Sunday your Pittsburgh Stillers will win their fifth
SUPER BOWL. A-BEN.

Billy's Roadhouse: Wexford,
PA
"We're from
the town with the great football team" started da show
tonight. ok? you got a problem wit dat? I didn't tink
so. "Boilermaker", "Loverboy",and "Last night I had a
dream" followed. Billy's was packed dis rockin eve and
everybody was feelin it. "High times" was da right song
for the occasion, and tonight, it smoked as did "We come
a long way". We ended da first set wit "lLttle things'',
which gave me da chance to rip some serious slide
guitar. Round two started up wit da Henrey Mancini
classic "Peter gunn" followed by "Two story house". Ole
buddy Mike Sheehee requesed "Pittsburgh PA". We then
sent out "You go your way" to Patty from Millvale.
Whitey and Harry played great on the songs that we don't
play real often, which really helps, because sometimes
daddy forgets....... Whitey shouted "I really gotta use
my imagination". "Smoke two joints" closed out da
night. GO STILLERS!!!!!!

doodle of an evening.da pittsburgh rockn'roll poured off
da stage all thru da nite.the altoona locals started
hootin when dey heard W.C.COOPER's soulful vocalization
on""sickn'tired".this gave me great joy."nothin to
lose"and "we come a long way" both came off real well
for guitar playin on dis freezin mid pennsylvania
nite.old friend gerry stanek got up on stage to play
bass and sing "truck drivin man".we then did "love dog"
with whitey doin da barkin."smoke two joints" closed out
da night.i tink der's hope for da altoids,we've got ta
git em ta church more often.nn

der's a whole
bunch of nice people on mars.we had da mayor of mars up
on stage wit us tonight ta help us sing "what da
f*ck".he sounded great.now dats entertainment.harry
bottoms drew serious applause when he sang "king of the
road".boxcar willy eat yer hart out.local baseball hero
mike sheehe jumped on stage and sang "she's a friend of
mine" da locals ate it up.hey mike,next time don"t be so
tall and handsome.nn

i drove up ta
y-tawn dis morning ta tape a radio show wit my good
friend cornel bogdan.casey malone, cornel's regular
cohost,was outta tawn so i got the opportunity to cohost
da legendary "TANGELED UP IN BLUES" radio broadcast.we
didn't do nut'in but bust our guts.heard new music by
local y-tawners SOUNDOCTRINE, that i enjoyed.also heard
new music by DION that had a very bluesy feel to it.i
