Halloween Party!!!!!:
378 Freeport Rd, Blawnox, PA (412) 828-2040 9:30
p.m. - 2 a.m. - Fri.
Harry Bottoms was wearing a Billy Price costume and
looked cool daddio. The Rat man was Osama Bin Laden, a
Penis, Apollo Creed, a Hippy Chick and a Gay Biker. His
brother Chooch left early because of severe
embarrassment (see pics). You can't pick your family!
Local celebrity "F'd up Chuck" sang Elvis Presely's
"Teddy Bear" and then a reggae version of Elvis's "Can't
Help Falling In Love". Pass the dust! I think I'm Elvis!
Meanwhile, the band did great versions of "Nothin To
Lose", new tunes, "This Ain't Gettin' It" and "Somone I
Can't Live Without". On "Lovedog", Moondog in costume
along with Rat and his dog costume, got up and danced.
Gives a new meaning to the term "Doggie Style". On "Who
Were You Thinking Of", The Rat Man stripped down to what
looked like a trapeze outfit. Wrong! Moondog closed out
the night singin' "Knockin On Heaven's Door" with "F'd
Up Chuck, and Whitey doing great backgrounds.
Notables in attendance: Patty, Donna & Betty Lou
and their posse, Grant, Gil (great mask) and Sue, Mark
the vet, Danny Murray, Little Mike and his motley crew,
John & Mary our bartenders, Craig with a great Sherlock
Holmes getup, Dave & Carol & Dave's sister. Marsha and

"This Ain't Gettin It", "Who Dat Do Dat", the old
standard "Burnin Up". Whitey Cooper sang "Town With No
Name" and "Shamalama Ding Dong. Then Harry Bottoms

First
Event...October 25 - 2003
Benefit for Logan Klemm Spring Garden Fire Hall
(Acoustic performance) 9-9:30 p.m. Sat.
Norman's short solo acoustic performance followed
Mark Sheer and the Discount All-Stars. A very cool new
Pittsburgh rock band. "How's About We Get It On" into
"Someone I Can't Live Without", followed by a heartfelt
"Today I Stepped In Something", also followed by a great
performance of "Ole Number 21". Then there was a very
comic performance of the "Just Because" polka. The show
ended with a Johnny Cash medley and the guy who came up
from the audience and played harp. Great event! There's
a whole lot of nice people in Pittsburgh PA.

Jam Night with Norman Nardini as special guest for Hot
House Band
Once again Norman got a chance to play with The Hot
House Band, a collection of fine Pittsburgh musicians.
Mark Heleski on guitar, Jack Sanso on harp and vocals,
Joffo Simmons on drums, Hank from Jill West band on
bass. Norman got a chance to play all the cool songs
that the House Band plays on a regular basis. He also
got a chance to play with another guitar player and harp
guy. It was easy to see how much fun he was havin'. He
was havin so much fun just playin' that he was on good
behavior. How cool it is to see Norm play other people's
music. Looked like he;s been playin it all along for
years.

An outdoor show in the parking lot turned out to be
quite n event. The first set featured a lot of older
tunes :Up Jumps The Devil", "Heartbreak Shake" Burnin
Up". Then a lady from the audience Freda came up to the
stage an Norman wrote a song on the spot to the tune of
Hank William's old "My Buckets Got Hole in it". Where
does Norman come up with all his bullshit? For the third
day in a row, the guys played a marathon. New songs
"This Ain't Gettin It" and "Someone I can't Live
Without" were on fire. Towards the end of the second
set, Norman played strange arrangement of the old
Charlie Daniels "Long Haired Country Boy" and changed
the words a little to try to shut up a big red neck in
the audience. Norman always said he wanted to be king of
the white trash. This gig went a long way towards that
goal. Buddies of Green County n American tradition since
May.
Notables in attendance: Bobby Moore, Dave, Dave &
Dave, Melissa and Freda

I know what you're
thinkin'....Norman at a fine dining establishment. Don't
worry, all the fine diners left by 9:30 pm. By the time
the guys took the stage all that was going on was a
white trash revival...Nardini style. "That' Enough About
Me " raged "Burnin' Up" burned and "Sick & Tired" soothe
the soul and all was right with the world. Norman seemed
to be a little out of his mind of r this show screamin'
out the words "Mutha Green" in an effort to cleanse his
soul and hopefully the souls of his people. He is truly
out of his mind.
Notables in attendance: Debbie & Lady friend, Bob &
Megan, Big Tommy the biker, Bobby Kellor, Mick O'toole.

The guys started
things up with an extra hot version of "Lazy Bones" and
they were off and runnin'. "How You Like Me Now" and
"Play" followed. Norman seemed to be in a great mood and
did a lot of talkin' during the first set which lasted
well over 2 hours. Somewhere towards the end, Norman
called up Sputzy of the Soul Providers to sing a couple
of numbers "Down Home Blues & "Knock On Wood" and he
sounded great. The second set started with Paul Martello
of the Jaggerz on drums with Whitey up front singin'.
This combination of musicians sounded great. Jill Panone
also got up to sing a gospel number "Saved" and kicked
ass. Then proprietor, Ron "Moondog" Esser came up and
sang the Dillon classic "I Shall Be Released" with
Whitey Cooper and Jill doing great backgrounds. The
music didn't stop until nearly 2:30 in the morning.
That's why they call him "Daddy Rockin' Strong".

It was a great night in West Virginia. For some
reason, Norman played the 2 hour first set out of a
different amplifier and it sounded great. First set
kicked off with "Lazy Bone" , then "How You Like Me Now"
into "Play" Norman pulled out 2 new songs, "Someone I
Can't Live Without" and for the first time played live,
"This Isn't Getting It". An LP of new Norman songs must
be in the works. The set closed with a smoking version
of "Smoke Two Joints". White Trash Tragedy opened the
second set, also a 2 hour marathon that ended at 2:45 in
the morning. Along the ways, the guys did Johnny Cash's
"I Walked The Line" and "Folsom Prison Blues". Bar owner
Joey S. sang the obligatory final song "For The Good
Times".
